How does onboarding work?
Two tracks, run in parallel. First, we send you a web form that walks you through one question at a time — your logo, photos, teacher bios, tuition, calendar dates, anything you want on the site. You fill it out at your pace, save partial progress, upload files. Second, our AI agent calls you for a free-form conversation — usually 20–30 minutes — where you can talk through what makes your org special, the tone you want, the things you want emphasized. We blend the structured form data and the conversational color into the first design pass.
How many rounds of feedback do we get before launch?
Two structured rounds. Because we collect tone, color preferences, and specifics upfront through onboarding, the first pass is usually 80–90% there. Round 1 of feedback dials in copy and layout. Round 2 catches anything you noticed once you saw it live. Then we ship. If you want a third round, we can — we'll quote it as a one-time addition, transparently, before doing the work.
How do I request updates after launch?
Two ways. You can email us — describe what you need changed, attach photos or new copy if relevant. Or you can call our AI agent, talk through what you need (events to add, photos to swap, dates to update), and it routes the request to us in writing. Either way: we make the change on a staging URL, send you a preview link, you hit Approve, it goes live. You never log into a CMS, never open WordPress, never wait on a parent volunteer.
What's included in those "monthly updates"?
Up to 2 small-to-medium updates per month — date changes, photo swaps, tuition tweaks, event listings, staff bios, copy edits, image refreshes, small layout fixes. Send us what you need. We make the change on a staging URL, send you a one-click preview link to review, you hit Approve, it goes live. For larger work (new full page, restructured nav, major rewrite), we quote it as a one-time project or you can move to Plus ($149/mo) for unlimited.
What if my site is on WordPress / Squarespace / Wix today?
We migrate your existing content over, free. You keep your domain. We coordinate with your current registrar so nothing breaks. SEO equity (existing rankings, blog posts, inbound links) carries over if you give us 2 weeks of overlap before cutover.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel any time, no fee. We export your site as static HTML, hand it over, and help you transfer the domain wherever you want it. You keep your content. No hostage situations. It also keeps our priorities aligned with yours — we only keep your business by making you happy and helping you see real value every month. If we stop earning that, you leave. That's the right amount of pressure on us.
How are you able to charge so much less than agencies?
We've streamlined the parts of agency work that quietly bloat your bill — the discovery phase, the project-management overhead, the account exec, the 12-person internal kickoff. Our two-track onboarding (web form + AI call) cuts weeks of meetings to a few days. Our infrastructure stack handles hosting, security, and updates without anyone touching a server. And we stay in a few specific niches — independent K–8 schools, co-op preschools, small nonprofits — so we know your world cold and don't relearn it on your dime. All of that efficiency goes back into the price. We're not cheap — we're focused.
Do you do donation forms / event signups / tour booking?
Yes. We hook up your existing payment processor (Stripe, Donorbox, GiveLively, Network for Good) and event platform (Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Google Calendar). We don't replace your donation processor — we integrate the one you trust.
What if I just want a one-time build, not a monthly plan?
We don't do that. The whole point of this model is you don't end up where you are now — with a frozen site no one maintains. If you want a one-time build, hire a freelancer. We'll happily refer.
Have you worked with [my type of org] before?
The portfolio piece above is a full K–8 school site we built end-to-end so you can see exactly what the work looks like. We're set up to serve: K–8 independent schools, co-op preschools, small arts and human-services nonprofits. If your org type isn't obvious from that list, ask — we'll be honest about whether we're a fit.
