How updates work

Up to 2 small-to-medium updates per month, included. Date changes, photo swaps, tuition tweaks, event listings, new staff bios, copy edits, image refreshes, small layout fixes. The things that pile up.

You see a preview before anything goes live. Send us what you want changed. We make the change on a staging URL, send you a one-click link to review it, you hit Approve. Then it ships. No "wait, that's not what I meant" surprises.

Bigger work — full page rebuilds, new sections, brand refresh — we quote as a one-time project, or you can bump to Plus ($149/mo) for unlimited. We tell you which bucket it's in before we start.

How we deliver this much for so little.

Streamlined processes and modern tools — not a 14-person agency with overhead. Here's what that looks like.

01

Two-track onboarding

A web form walks you through one question at a time — logos, teacher bios, photos, tuition, dates. Our AI agent calls you for a free-form conversation where you can ramble about what makes your school special. We blend both into the first design pass.

02

Two rounds, then launch

Because we get the tone, colors, and details right upfront, our first pass is genuinely clean. Two structured rounds of feedback — not endless revisions that drag a project for months. Most sites launch 3–4 weeks after sign-up.

03

Preview before it goes live

Need to change a date? Swap a photo? Update tuition? Email us. We make the change on a staging URL, send you a one-click preview link, you hit Approve. It ships. No CMS, no parent volunteer, no "is that what you meant?" surprises.

FICTIONAL K–8 · 14 PAGES · BUILT IN 3 WEEKS
Open the example →

A fully built example site for a fictional K–8 independent school called Cedarbrook. Hand-built homepage with video hero, four grade-pod sections, admissions flow, staff page, alumni stories, history timeline, daily schedule, giving page. Everything is mobile-first. We built Cedarbrook as a working portfolio piece — a real site, not a mockup — so you can click around and see exactly what the work looks like before you commit.

Questions we get a lot.

How does onboarding work?

Two tracks, run in parallel. A web form walks you through one question at a time — logo, photos, teacher bios, tuition, calendar dates. You fill it at your pace, save partial progress, upload files. Then our AI agent calls you for a free-form 20–30 minute conversation where you can talk through what makes your school special. We blend the structured form and the conversational color into the first design pass.

How many rounds of feedback before launch?

Two structured rounds. Because we collect tone, color, and specifics upfront, the first pass is usually 80–90% there. Round 1 dials in copy and layout. Round 2 catches anything you noticed once you saw it live. Then we ship. Want a third round? We'll quote it transparently as a one-time addition before doing the work.

How do I request updates after launch?

Two ways. Email us — describe what's changed, attach photos or new copy. Or call our AI agent — talk through what you need (events, photos, dates), it routes the request to us in writing. Either way: we make the change on a staging URL, send a preview link, you hit Approve, it goes live. You never log into a CMS.

What's included in those "monthly updates"?

Up to 2 small-to-medium updates per month — date changes, photo swaps, tuition tweaks, event listings, staff bios, copy edits, image refreshes, small layout fixes. Bigger work (new full page, restructured nav, major rewrite) we quote as a one-time project, or you can move to Plus ($149/mo) for unlimited.

What if my site is on WordPress / Squarespace / Wix today?

We migrate your existing content over, free. You keep your domain. We coordinate with your current registrar so nothing breaks. SEO equity (existing rankings, blog posts, inbound links) carries over if you give us 2 weeks of overlap before cutover.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel any time, no fee. We export your site as static HTML, hand it over, and help you transfer the domain wherever you want. You keep your content. No hostage situations. It keeps our priorities aligned with yours — we only keep your business by making you happy. If we stop earning that, you leave. Right amount of pressure on us.

How are you able to charge so much less than school-specific vendors?

We've streamlined the parts of agency work that quietly bloat your bill — discovery phase, project-management overhead, account exec, 12-person internal kickoff. Our two-track onboarding cuts weeks of meetings to a few days. Our infrastructure handles hosting, security, updates without anyone touching a server. And we stay in a few specific niches — independent K–8s, co-op preschools, small nonprofits, solo SLPs — so we know your world cold. All of that efficiency goes back into the price. We're not cheap. We're focused.

Do you do tour booking / event signups / donation forms?

Yes. We hook up your existing tools (Calendly, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Google Calendar) and donation processors (Stripe, Donorbox, GiveLively). We don't replace your tools — we integrate the ones you trust.

What if I just want a one-time build, not a monthly plan?

We don't do that. The whole point of this model is you don't end up where you are now — with a frozen site no one maintains. If you want a one-time build, hire a freelancer. We'll happily refer.

Have you worked with [my type of school] before?

The Cedarbrook portfolio above is a full K–8 site we built end to end. We're set up for: K–8 independent schools, co-op preschools, parent-run elementaries, small faith-based schools. If your school type isn't obvious from that list, ask — we'll be honest about whether we're a fit.

Get started.

Tell us about your school. We'll reply within 24 hours with next steps — usually a short call and a link to our onboarding form.
